Charles
Milby, Jr. speaks to Houston City Councilwoman Carol Alvarado at the
opening of TFA-Houston's Misíon Milby located in the Milby
United Methodist Church. Mr. Milby serves on the Board of Directors
of the Hamman Foundation which provided some funding for the Center.
Mr. Milby's grandfather, John Milby, was one of the benefactors of
the Milby United Methodist Church along with George and Mary Josephine
Hamman. Misíon Milby will provide training and public access
to computers for the neighborhood surrounding the facility. Houston
Independent School District staff and students helped open the Center.
