Tech LinkUp
Technology For All partners with Tech LinkUp to help connect volunteers, sponsors, and businesses with community organizations, and it helps connect community organizations with one another for mutual support.
Tech LinkUp supports community organizations in their use of technology, with special focus on those which use technology in a primary way. For example:
- community technology centers
- literacy programs
- after-school computer-aided programs
- computer-assisted job training programs
Tech LinkUp works through communication and participation.
- TFA encourages participating community organizations to describe their immediate needs and learn about what other, similar organizations are doing.
- Volunteers learn about the current needs, and organizations learn about the volunteers.
- Sponsors and business learn what the organizations' needs are. Organizations learn what resources the sponsors and businesses have to offer.
People want to help, but they don't always know how.
