A collaborative project between Bay Area Habitat for Humanity and Technology For All

Technology For Al, in collaboration with Bay Area Habitat for Humanity is placing a Mouse in Every House. Every home built by Bay Area Habitat for Humanity receives a TFA refurbished computer through a “sweat equity” learn and earn program created for the project. On Saturday, May 1, 2004, designated “Computers for Humanity Day”, an initial 27 Bay Area Habitat homeowners received computers for their homes. The event was hosted by Faith United Methodist Church in Dickinson.

As new homes are built, new homeowners also receive computers through the collaborative program. TFA thanks St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital for the first computers delivered to homeowners through this program.
