Project GRAD
Technology For All-Houston has developed a supportive relationship with Project GRAD that challenges students to achieve success in advanced placement (AP) classes. The Project GRAD mission is to ensure a quality public school education for all children in economically disadvantaged communities so that high school graduation rates increase and graduates are prepared to enter and be successful in college.
The P-GAP program is designed with the following student objectives, teacher objectives, and objectives that increase the access of low-income students to AP coursework in order to develop, enhance, and expand pre-advanced placement courses, in conjunction with advanced placement courses, in English, mathematics, science, and other core academic areas at the middle or high school level. Through a pilot program, TFA will be providing an incentive for students to be successful. Using Project GRAD critieria, successful students earn a TFA refurbished computer for use at home.
