Secure Technology Asset Recycling and Re-deployment Services.

Technology For All, (a 501 (c)(3) non-profit) through our social enterprise, TFA-Secure Technology Asset Recycling and Redeployment Services (TFA-STARRS), is pleased to introduce a new service to the business community.  Our mission is to acquire computer and electronic equipment from corporations, communities and government agencies for refurbishment and community redeployment and/or recycling utilizing industry-leading environmental and compliance practices.  To accomplish our mission TFA-STARRS has established a strategic relationship with CompuCycle Inc., and through its recycling partner has created a new solution for the disposition of useable, end-of-life computer and computer-related equipment.

We have designed the TFA-STARRS program to “fit the needs of business.”  The TFA-STARRS program allows your business to benefit from substantially lower cost for disposing of your used computer equipment.  It supports environmental responsibility by proper disposal of used equipment while promoting community goodwill through the redeployment of your gift to underserve and under resourced communities.

Our alliances enable us to deliver a comprehensive suite of options for the disposition of your used computer equipment.  Through Compucycle’s logistics and facility network we can offer equipment, technology redeployment and recycling services.  This partnership allows TFA-STARRS to offer several important benefits to your company: 1) We offer your company a coast-to-coast asset management solution for recycling and redeployment; 2) We provide comprehensive asset validation; 3) We are connected to a nationwide collection network; 4) We offer the ability of both onsite or remote data erasure or destruction; 5) Each donation is inventoried and a complete listing of all donated equipment is provided.

At TFA-STARRS we understand the security of the information stored on your computers is critical.  To that end we offer several solutions for the removal of information contained on computer hard drives.  These solutions range from a simple disk re-format for non-sensitive information, a total drive wipe that exceeds the Department of Defense (DOD) standard for most critical data, to the ultimate in computer disk security, total disk destruction.  Each solution is custom tailored to your specific business need.

Compucycle’s relationship with a national recycler allows TFA-STARRS to offer another value added service, environmental friendly disposal of equipment.  For equipment that cannot be redeployed into the community, TFA-STARRS offers complete deconstruction and recycling at the component level to ensure environmental friendly waste disposal in support of zero land fill policies.

Your generous donation allows TFA-STARRS to continue to redeploy the maximum amount of your donated equipment to underserved communities and neighborhoods as we have successfully done with over 200 local organizations since 1997.  By utilizing the TFA-STARRS program your company will not only benefit from the reduced cost of secure end of life equipment disposition, but your donation will also assist your community through the redeployment of equipment to the non profit community.
